NASA For 21.12.2012 - Why the World Didn't End Yesterday

Beauty Poll: Is THIS The Face Of Perfection?
You guys tickle me with your hilarious hypotheticals and statistics stories. Case in point: They recently polled thousands of beauty industry professionals and plastic surgeons to find out which celebrities facial features rank high in requests. The result? This Photoshopped image which supposedly represents today's ideal face. Take a look:
She has the eyes and hair of British pop singer Cheryl Cole; the forehead (huh?) of Aussie singer Kylie Minogue; the cheekbones of British supermodel Kate Moss; the plush pout of our all-American Angelina Jolie; and the perma-tan skin of British lingerie model Katie Price, a.k.a. Jordan.
Make no mistake, I agree that the calculated computerized image is indeed stunning, but I also have a few thoughts about it:
1) I didn't even know that foreheads were covetable, let alone that Kylie Minogue has a perfect one. I've always thought it was all about her cute caboose, but she does have a smooth forehead for 44. I guess you really do learn something new everyday.
2) If we're picking perfectly tanned skin, why not pick someone whose skin is naturally that color?
3) Matter of fact, I would have loved to see some diversity on this list, as women of color are beautiful too. What about Beyonce's eyes? Rihanna's lips? Kelly Rowland's nose? Penelope Cruz's cheekbones? Frieda Pinto's skin? Zoe Saldana's eyebrows?
